What is a GVFWE like? A wonderous collection of all kinds of classic and vintage aircraft, to begin with…..
Here you can see a typical GVFWE selection in the sun at Hullavington. Amongst the aircraft visible in this shot are a Taylorcraft BL-65, Pietenpol Air Camper, Mooney M.20F, Piper PA 28-140, DeH Dove 8 and a P51D Mustang ! Now, that is what you call diversity. The Dove, by the way, comes each year, and this fine example of the early ‘feederliner’ runs a pleasure flying service for visitors – a treat not to be missed.
